Day 165

Oh my. Talk about exhaustion and feeling huge. We went to the store for a few things, then over to my parents' house to swim and have lunch. We got home and I couldn't keep my eyes open, even if you'd paid me. Good thing they picked a movie to bring home so I could take a little nap. Sadly, it didn't help much.

I still felt so tired and of course, my crazies had energy on top of energy.

When AJ started summer vacation, I debated on making him start taking naps again. I don't want him to be tired when he goes back to school, but sending them to their rooms for "Quiet time" while I nap seems like the best plan for now. I'm really hoping my lack of energy doesn't last for the next few weeks though. Playing it all by ear!

Day 164

AJ had a "great idea." "Let's do a puzzle, Mommy!" He helped me find all of the edge pieces, then ditched me to dance, we had Pandora playing, of course! I like puzzles, so I didn't mind. He ended up doing a bunch when he does done shaking his stuff, and finishing it, while I cooked dinner.

This guy's favorite things: puzzles and dancing!

When my babysitting week starting, she mentioned something about asking the other lady if she's willing to start a week early. (We're out of town next week for three days and then she works a night shift, so he's not coming at all, so the week after would be my last week.) I told her, it was up to her. When she picked him up today she said the lady said yes, so I'm done! Yesssss!

Super happy to start enjoying these last few weeks relaxing before Kinder starts for AJ and Baby Three make his/her appearance.

Day 163 (28 weeks pregnant)

A girl I follow on Instagram, and sometimes I read her blog (I hardly ever read blogs anymore!) is 30 weeks today, she's due on AJ's birthday. I thought, "OMG! I can't believe my first baby will be FIVE in just ten weeks. That's soo soon!" And my next thought was, "OMG! Two weeks after that my last baby will be due." Oh goodness.

My first and last babies.

Twenty eight weeks:

- This kid has been taking jabs/elbowing/kneeing/whatever the hell out of my left side. Ouch!

- I feel bigger and bigger every day. Like really, I can't believe my belly could possibly get so much bigger, even though I've gone through this before. I feel like it's about to burst!

- I ate a ton of cereal when I was pregnant with AJ. Ordinarily, I eat a bowl of Cheerios here and there for breakfast. This week I've eaten soooo much Frosted Flakes. They're the best thing ever.

- I am so, so, so tired.

- My skin is back to being gross. Basically I'm repeating my first trimester, minus the nausea. That part I hope doesn't decide to come back!

- Even though it's flying by, it really is, the last few days I've felt like the next twelve weeks are going to drag. It's getting hotter, while I'm getting bigger and more uncomfortable by the day. I try not to complain about it since I'll most likely never experience this again, and I want to enjoy every little baby movement and life as is before these huge changes, but some days I just want to whine! And I think that's totally okay too. :)

Day 162

No pictures today. Also a pretty uneventful day.

This picture's from Saturday morning...

Every night we put the kids to sleep in their own rooms and eeeevery night when I go to bed, one or both of them is in bed with Steven! He always tells me to wake him up so I don't have to carry them out but I never do. And now with my belly and hip ache, I don't carry them out anymore. I just leave them and go sleep somewhere else. But this week I made it a rule that they have to stay in their own beds. So far so good!

Day 161

This morning we all packed up and headed home from lake. Aiden said, "You know, I'm gonna miss this place." :) We couldn't wait to get home and take naps! Afterwards we went grocery shopping, then Steven and the kids did yard work.

I don't remember the heat ever bothering me as a kid and it certainly doesn't bother these kids either! They love being outside.

Earning their keep!

We had cereal for dinner, so glad my kids are easy to please!

Even with naps, we couldn't wait to get to bed that night. I love sleeping in my own bed after a couple of nights away.

Day 160

Last night I was worried I wouldn't sleep very well, but I got a great's night's sleep! Morning's at the lake are soo peaceful. The sun's not insanely hot yet and the water is so calm without boats on it.

Baby bump!

The day was pretty much the same as yesterday, filled with swimming, tubing on the boat and the kids playing at the little playground by Grandma and Grandpa's trailer.

My pretty girl, ready for the day's fun!

Aiden and Rian both had their first tubing experience! We had to force Aiden on it and of course, just like we knew he would, he LOVED it! (Steven was on the tube with them.) Rian wasn't a fan. Aiden went three times total, I think. Steven said he'd yell, "Faster Grandpa, faster!" Sad I don't have any pictures of it, but just like Steven's dad said, sometimes there are some things that you just need to remember. Yep!

Walking down to the boat. I love this picture!

My parents and Rachel drove up for a few hours to hang out too. After they left, everybody went to their trailers for naps. Staying up late + waking up early + being in the sun all day = exhausting.

After naps of course: more swimming and boat rides/tubing. Elyse rented a kayak and peddle boat. We used the little boat for awhile and took the kids on a little ride.

Gorgeous sunsets happen at the lake!

Tim and Ryan were walking back to their trailer later that night and Ryan saw me and thought I was his Momma. He tripped and when I picked him up and tried giving him back to his Daddy, he clung onto me! :) For not seeing him too often, that made this Auntie very happy! I took him back to his Mommy and he wanted Aiden and Rian to stay. AJ hadn't napped that day though and was ready to relax and watch a movie, so Ryan came with us! I was surprised he wanted to and stayed for a little bit. :)

Snuggled up!

Day 159

This morning/afternoon we waited around for Steven to get off of work so we could head to the lake for the weekend! His parents were already there and Rebecca and her family were on their way. Exciting! We got there around 2:30, Steven fell asleep almost right away, I don't blame him, he'd been working since 3:30am.

While he napped, the rest of us went swimming for awhile. Around the time he woke up, everybody went tubing on Grandpa's boat. Our family stayed behind with Grandma and Jake, we swam while we watched them fly by in the boat.

Life at the lake is pretty lazy, I don't think we had dinner til around 8-8:30. All of us squished into a picnic table: Grandpa, Grandma, Steven, me, Aiden, Rian, Tim, Rebecca, Elyse, Ryan and Jake was in a chair to the side. :) Then we sang Happy Birthday to Grandma and had cupcakes.

We hung out til around 11pm, I love seeing the little cuzzies playing together. They get cuter every time!

I didn't take many pictures this weekend boo.

Rebecca and Tim's trailer the left, ours to the right.
Grandma and Grandpa were just a few spots over in their trailer they own.
