Oh boy

Aiden likes to have privacy in the bathroom, obviously this is fine with me. After his nap he had to pee, he didn't ask me to leave and we were talking as he sat down and all of sudden, his pee was EVERYWHERE! The look on his face was hilarious. It was all over his clothes, his legs, the floor and the wall. I don't know how it happened but I couldn't stop laughing and he was almost in shock, "Help me Mommy! Wipe my knees. Help!" I'm so glad he didn't make me leave, that gave me a real good laugh. Being a boy is gross! I always say they were born disgusting, it comes natural.

But he sure is cute.

He was too busy watching tv to get a new pair of underwear so Rian said she'd get it and then she tried putting it on him! haha. So I helped her put them on [ummm can we say, boys are also ridiculously lazy!] When we got it on him, he said, "Thanks guys."

Maddie.

Today we are wearing pink for Maddie who's celebrating her first birthday in Heaven. [Rian wouldn't change her shirt but she so sweetly allowed me to put the bow in]

Happy Birthday, sweet girl.

EEK!

Some stuff I ordered for the kids came earlier.

I got Rian some sweater boots [I wanted black or grey like mine, but they were out] so I got her pink and OMG they are the cutest! Love them. Awesome outfit right? She makes me laugh.

blah blah blah

I started on the frames today, this is as far as I got til I get more.

I think maybe I want to go up higher, around that one shelf too.

Love it so far.

Rian thinks the new chair is for her, she's been sitting in it a lot. :)

Steven's always hated our plates, they're really big and heavy but the actual part that holds the food is really small. I don't like them either because I can only fit a few in the dishwasher. He's been bugging me a lot lately to buy a new set so instead I've been picking up random ones that I like here and there. Its fun! I'm going to start doing it with coffee cups too since I have that one cabinet with no doors. And maybe more bowls. Addicted to shopping much? Last night I promised him I'd stop and he just laughed at me, he knows that'll never happen.

Aiden had us laughing soo hard this morning when he was dancing, he's so crazy. He was doing the most perfect somersaults, he'd roll over slowly and his legs would be perfectly straight, like he was a professional or something. Then he'd do some with a little jump right before he rolled. We need to put him in gymnastics or dance, something! He has so much energy. And next year, soccer. He's been remembering the most random things lately. The other day when I pulled out my creamer he said, "Remember last week when Sissy dropped that?" umm that happened in March, 7 months ago! He also started talking about Steven's motorcycle accident again, "Daddy went to the hospital. The motorcycle went away in Cory's truck"- also happened in March. Today at Marshall's he said, "Nana took me here!" That was the last time he's been there and that was forever ago too. The memory on them is amazing.

And Rian's been so observant lately. Yesterday when I went to take a shower she was whinning and pointing at the sink, I told her to go play but a few minutes later she opened the shower curtain and handed me my face wash. This morning when I grabbed my contact case, she started pointing at the cabinet saying "Whi Whi!" I don't know what that meant but when she saw me grab the saline, she got excited. She knows my routine. And her talking, omg! I was watching 'Kendra' and when they showed baby Hank, Rian said, 'There's a baby right there!" Sounds like- der's a beebee ri der. Then they showed Mickey Mouse and she said, "That's Micky Mouse right there!" Yesterday I went outside to get Aiden's shoes before they left and she said, "Get my shoes outside" Each word she said soo slow and spaced apart, love it. After her nap while I was changing her diaper she said, "Lot of pee pee in there!" of course her speech isn't perfect but its so cute. Steven calls her Mac [for Makenzie] and she'll go up to him and say "Mac! Daddy's Mac" and she knows I call her Punky and Meatball. She'll look at me and say "Momma" over and over because she wants me to call her one of those. :) I'm going to miss it when she talks all the time, I like listening to her little jibberish. :(

Mommy's baby

Before I start my post, I have to make it clear that Rian does love her Daddy. She just favors her Momma. Always has.

My girl is just that, my girl. She has to be with me if I'm anywhere near. If I take a shower and shut the door, she lays outside of the door and cries til I come out. If I leave the house, she stands in the window, screaming as I drive away. She has to be by my side every possible second. I looove it. [Obviously there are times I just want my own space, but deep down it makes me so happy that she wants me.]

We always teamwork Aiden's bedtime story, Steven reads a page then I read a page and so on. Dare Steven try and read a page during Rian's bedtime story... she fusses, straight pushes his finger out of the book, only wants me to read. I want to snuggle with Aiden, Rian does NOT allow it. Ask Steven to brush Rian's teeth? Forget it! She won't go. Momma has to do it all! In her eyes, I'm only hers.

I love being her world. Its so bad that I know it breaks Steven's heart but yet I still enjoy how much more she needs me. :\

We were watching 'Last Man Standing' earlier and he said he already knows how sad he'll be when she's a teenager and she wants nothing to do with him... I just looked at him and rolled my eyes. He has no idea. I'm already dreading it. My heart already hurts thinking about her not wanting to be my best friend. I want us to always be close but I know how teenage girls are. I'm already preparing for the heartache. I better start brainwashing her asap! ;)

Wednesday shopping.

Ready to go!
[This is the only spot in the house I wear shoes, in front of the mirror to make sure they go with my outfit. Wearing shoes in houses, especially on carpet, is disgusting. And even more so if there are babies and little kids that put everything in their mouths. EW. I sure do have a "Please take off your shoes" sign on my front door!]

I'm so bad. I went out to get stuff for the kids' Halloween costumes but instead found some treasures for the house. Oops. I can't help it!

A new chair- in love with it.

I saw this picture on Pinterest, I want to do this on the wall behind the chair:
Picture frames down to the floor!
[I love the baby, reminds me of Rian. She had those jammies last year.]

A chandelier for our room.
[It needs bulbs and I need Steven to cut part of the chain so that ugly piece won't be on anymore. I might end up switching and put this one in the living room instead.]

Also got some other random crap to put on shelves and stuff. I love buying stuff for the house... I have a shopping problem. Steven buys a lot of junk too [and his is expensive junk!] so I don't feel as bad.

I finished 'The Help' this morning, I was sad I was done. I wanted to keep reading. I should've gotten another book today. I like buying books more than checking out from the library, I like owning a lot- I want a huuuuge full bookcase one day. Plus, I read them over and over and over.

My labor stories

I love love loooove reading/hearing labor and delivery stories and tonight on 'Parenthood' Kristina's giving birth so I decided to add mine on here. They're on the right side of my blog, a permanent fixture so I can look at them whenever- copy and pasted from my livejournal.
