Day 90

I cleaned eggs Saturday and couldn't wait for the kids to go to bed so I could put them together... what's so exciting about that?! Nothing, but I was.

This was the most excited they've been so far. These ages are definitely the most fun for holidays, birthdays etc. They're not greedy or picky and they're so amazed by the magicalness of it all. Love it!

We went to church and came home for lunch, then my Mom and Rachel picked up the kids. Steven and I went grocery shopping- yay. But really, its so nice going just the two of us.

We had an Easter egg hunt when we got to my parents house, we had to do it inside because of Aiden's allergies- boo. They were horrible that day, poor baby. We facetimed with Adrian, Michael and Tati, my Mom misses them so much, I feel sad for her. Everybody enjoyed their Bloody Mary's and New Castle's while dinner cooked- lucky! I want a glass of wine. Wah! Then we sat down to a super yummy (and nontraditional) Easter dinner: ceviche and carne asada with rice and beans- mmm!

Day 89

A typical Saturday, errands and cleaning. I got the kids to nap (second Saturday in a row!) When Rian was in her room getting dressed, I heard her say, "Where are my shorts? I sink (think) they ran away or something." My little chatterbox. Allllll day long.

She wanted to paint my nails later that day, why not?!

She was the cutest, concentrating so hard!

Besides the paint on my actual fingers, she really didn't do that bad of a job!

Later that night, I was thinking about a few specific pictures of me while I was pregnant with the kids, mostly Aiden. Since his pregnancy, we've gotten a new computer and then a new hard drive because it crashed. So we lost a lot of pictures. I decided to try my old photobucket account. It took me a few guesses, but I finally got on and there were a few pictures, so exciting! Most of the pictures I took with Aiden were only of my belly, I held the camera at waist level and snapped.

Which is nuts, because that's exactly how far along I am today. Crazy! I was even more shocked at how huge my belly was! Some people are surprised at how big I am right now and this is my third pregnancy. My belly gets big fast, my height probably has a lot to do with it.

 

I've been pregnant and given birth twice... but going through this all again still blows my mind! Every time I feel the baby move, I just can't believe it. I was so scared and nervous my whole pregnancy with Rian. She'd never have all of me and I was taking away part of me from Aiden. I had so much worry and guilt. I wondered how I could possibly love another person the way I love Steven and Aiden. 

 

I don't have any of that this time. I can't exactly imagine what it's going to be like, but I know it'll be amazing and my heart already has room for this baby. I'm growing another little baby mixed with perfect amounts of Mommy and Daddy. I'm as excited as ever about the newest addition to our family!

Day 88

Every year on Good Friday, Discount closes from noon to three, so Steven doesn't usually have to go in til then. We get a good amount of time with him that day!

The boys went for haircuts and Rian and I went to find her an Easter dress... which turned into a few outfits. She kept pointing out the cutest stuff! We had a nice time together and even ran into Titi, Uncle Geoff and Oliver! Geoff pointed out how funny it is that between us, we're at Target all the time but this is the first time we've ever see each other there. When we got home, Steven was doing yard work but AJ was gone. He was a few houses over playing with some kids- augh my baby's getting so big! :\

Steven was off to work for a few hours, so we went to Lowes and stopped at Sonic for slushies.

When Daddy got home, we dyed our eggs. It gets more fun the bigger the kids get! I made a cute zig zag one, but it rolled off of the table and cracked. Aiden said, "He ran away from me! Now his head is cracked and he needs to be adopted." ha! Where does he come up with this stuff?

 



 

The finished products are missing a few, the kids couldn't wait to eat some!

 





Day 87

I was a little grumpy this morning, because of other people's actions. I shouldn't let it bother me because it doesn't directly effect me, but in a small way it does... if that makes sense.

Then the mail lady rang the doorbell and cheered me up some! I was expecting one thing, I was surprised when I saw her with a stack.

Seriously, what is it about getting packages?! So exciting.

Since I picked AJ up from school, he's been chanting "Spring break! Spring break! Spring break!" haha! He has no idea what's going on, but its still funny.

Of course, as soon as we got home, he wanted to do his homework.

I was expecting to have Sean tomorrow, but he's not coming! Super excited to have a day with just my two littles.

Day 86 (17 weeks pregnant)

17 weeks already?!

 

I took the left picture then took a shower, the right was taken after. I took two because I think my bump looks different depending on what I wear. I'm obsessed with it! I loved having my bellies with Aiden and Rian, but I think because I know this is my last time, I'm cherishing every single second of round belly bliss!

 

Nothing new to report this week, except movement. Feeling the baby is the best. Love it!

 

Oh and dreams. Geez... alllll night long, nonstop crazy dreams. So weird how that happens.

Day 85

My pictures are mixed up, yesterday's was taken today and today's was taken yesterday. But I needed the computer picture for that post!

I have a daily pregnancy app that I read every morning. Yesterday it was talking about feeling "ravenous" and I thought, "I'm not there yet." But three hours later, omg. I was starving. I felt hungry but 5 minutes later I felt faint because I needed to eat. It made me laugh that it happened that exact day I read about it. (I'm writing this a few days later, my lunchtime has now become 10-10:30am. And by 4:00 I'm beyond ready for dinner!)

This baby's making me hungry!

So into salads lately, yum! Happy my body's cooperating and wanting healthy food.

Day 84

Today we had our first Parent/Teacher conference, so weird that we're doing things like this! Wasn't Aiden just born?! He gets out early every Monday (and also for the rest of the week because of the conferences) so Steven went to get him and they were going to hang out for a little bit til our conference. They went and got ice cream, lucky! :) While he was gone, I felt about 10 movements in the exact same spot. All my doubting and finally I know for sure, that was the baby! (16w5d)

Our meeting with Aiden's teacher went really well. They all said such nice things about him, it made me want to cry! Crazy emotions. They said he's so polite and such a good boy and they're happy he ended up in the class (he started later than everybody else.) His teacher is really impressed with him since he's the youngest one in class. Proud mommy and daddy. :)

Since he got such a good report, we took him to Target to get a laptop like Rian has. It's caused soo many fights, I don't know why we didn't get two at Christmas! That problem's now solved.

 

Anytime one of them gets their computer, the other one does too. And this is the only time he lets her sit by him! They make sure they're both playing the same game too.
