Birthday girl!
[She's looking away or blinking in most of my pictures, just like my Mom!]
Our girl
[Aiden was running wild the whole time, he's MIA in pictures]
Momma and Daddy
He stopped for cake
[The little boy behind him in Rae's best friend's little brother. Rian was in LOVE! She barely took her eyes off of him. She wouldn't look at us during pictures so we'd have Lenin come stand behind whoever was taking them so she'd look. My baby's first boyfriend haha.]
Just one of the girls.
Sisters<3
Rian fell asleep on the way home so I just put her right in bed. When I checked on her, her butt was in the air. I haven't seen her sleep like that in so long, it made me happy.
Some people might say Steven's, well, a douche. But obviously I get to see deeper sides of him. I think he's always been pretty emotional, he's cried in front of me plenty of times and always gets choked up during tv shows, but he's turned to mush since becomming a Dad. He cries when bad things happen to our friends, he cries when good things happen to them. He might not act like he cares for people in front of them, but behind their backs he loves them. I recently found out he's been bringing the old lady next door her newspaper every morning because she's now in a wheel chair and can't get out of her front door to get it. There's an older man that goes to his work to collect their recycling items, a couple of years ago Steven started taking him ours and they've become buddies. Steven gets him stuff for his birthday and yesterday he came home with this:
Charlie bought a cake in August because he knew it was Steven and Aiden's birthday but I guess he never got it to Steven so he brought him a new one yesterday. So sweet. I love that he's starting to share his "softer side" with other people. It makes me love him even more... even though he can be a douche. ;)
