The kids didn't wake up til 8:00 this morning! That's sleeping in for us these days. I felt so refreshed!
I'm so happy its October, even though its still warm here- its offically the month the weather starts cooling down. Thank GOD! I put cinnamon in my coffee this morning and sprayed my Febreeze Pumpkin Harvest scent alllllll over. Pretended it was fall in Arizona!
We didn't do a whole lot today. The highlights of our day were going to Walmart -I usually try to avoid that horrid store on Saturdays, especially with the kids but its like 2 minutes from the house and I needed a few things- and I decluttered/organized above the washer and dryer.
When Steven got home we took the kids outside and made cheladas.
[Hers & His]
Our kids are as obsessed with olives as we are and Steven is so disgusting that he doesn't care if they put their grubby hands in his drink to grab them. Gag.
True Love.
I do miss my dark hair, but I've spent so much on the blonde that I'm going to keep it for awhile longer. I'd personally like to thank whoever made dark roots trendy because I have no plans to touch up my highlights anytime soon. :)
We gave the kids baths outside with the hose for the first time tonight- it was so fun [and funny]! Steven said he never did that but I remember my parents doing it all the time to me and my brother when we were little.
Halloween jams.
Now its 8:30 and everybody's already in bed. :\ Steven of course passed out early because he went to work at 4am and is exhausted, but my late-nighter Aiden wanted to go sleep with Daddy and left me hanging.
So its "Friends" reruns then "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" for Momma!
i had to go to wal mart yesterday too-- hate that place!
ReplyDeleteI saw your pin about the neat little area above the washer and dryer and I want to try and organize mine better too! I keep piling (how do you spell that word?) junk up there and it gets all messy. Maybe I'll do that tonight before I go to bed!
ReplyDeleteAiden looks bigger every time you post. How is he so big already? =(
I remember last year we were so excited about October 1st to put the babies in their Halloween jammies! I can't remember why you didn't do it on the first last year- but it should be a tradition forever- even when they are too big and don't want to wear Halloween jammies anymore.
