Yesterday I came across a blog that had a "how to" of blogging and getting followers. I thought it was so odd. Maybe because I don't care about having followers?
My blog is basically just a recap of our days. I do this so I can remember every. little. thing. Not to become popular in some blog world on the "interwebz"... what the hell is up with the way some people type when they're blogging anyway. "LOLZ" um what?!
When I started this blog, I sent the link to 4 friends that I know read my other one. I posted it on my other blog but I erased it about an hour later. I also put it in my facebook website info but tried deleting it for weeks, it finally let me do it the other day. I'm not sure why, I just don't care to put it all out there for everybody I know to see.
In second grade, we wrote in our jounals everyday after recess, I loved doing it. I think my Mom might still have them, I should ask her. When I got into 5th grade, I started writing in a journal at home. Then in high school, I made a livejournal. I wrote in it all the time until I moved back here, then it became every now and then, til eventually I didn't write in it at all. After I had Aiden, I'd write in it occasionally to keep track of all the things going on in our lives. Then last year I made my Project 365 blog and that's when I really got back into it. Its something I've always loved- writing about nothing and everything.
Most of the blogs I read belong to people I don't know. I don't care if randoms read mine, I'm just not sure why somebody that doesn't know me would want to read it. I could never imagine having hundreds of followers- that's weird to me, I guess I just don't find myself that interesting.
But anyway, I love blogging. I love going back and reading my old posts- remembering what we did and how I felt that day, the silly things the kids did or said that I hope I'll always remember but know I'll eventually forget...

I love reading peoples blogs, even if I dont know them. I read mostly blogs of people with babies. Its fun to see how other mamas do things. I dont care how many followers I have. I do blog hops to find new blogs and I was featured on one and featured on two other blogs so I somehow ended up with a bunch of readers.
ReplyDeleteI like having a lot of followers for one reason....free stuff. All these reviews/giveaways are so fun to me because I get to try stuff out. Who doesnt love free crap.
I dont think I'm all that interesting though. I am lazy and this is easier than writing in her hand written journal. I write every day things in here and then go back and write it in her journal when I get a chance.
I like reading your blog :)
Anytime I have time to get on my computer, you're a pit stop for me! I LOVE catching up on your blog! It lets me become updated and feel connected to you even when I don't see you for (a) week(s) at a time! Isa just told me the same thing about mine- I used to blog SO much and then just stopped. Anyway, I always tell you how much I like you(rs) because I'm big on letting others know if I'm thinking about them, lol! Sometimes this damn thing doesn't let me comment and makes me jump through hoops in order to do so...like right now, I bet I'm going to have to log out then log in and then verify the words twice lol! But I love you and I love your blog(s). Sometimes I see my visitor count rise really high and wonder who it is that's interested enough to read...Anyway, love you! Always!
